What an eye opener to a different world.

I don't doubt that the industry reviews are correct and it does seem a most thorough engagement with the differing views one might find on how many morals are dancing on the head of an academic pin, but I don't know if they are worth covering in the end. The interpolations of weakness and strengths between premises and their criticiques is incredibly detailed and finely drawn, if mechanically over-complete. It is this sense of intimate disection of positions and their viewpoints that leads to one to feel as a reader, that the writer may have had robotic tendencies. Perhaps this was due to my own lack of connection with any of the contemporary metaethics covered, and I was a robotic reader, but I do wonder if this was written by some scholastic algorithm.
It will definitely provide a useful historical index for the future, like an almanac, but I don't know if there is any point to this book otherwise in the end. At least I didn't get anywheres. But then I am not employed in ivy covered sandstone universities, and I feel like I am looking at a yearbook or class photo from a school my sort are not encouraged to attend for the age-cohort networking opportunities they provide. Like the recent King's school rugby team's tackling of sheep in Australia recently. [...]
